When we make room to worship God, our perspective changes and our spirits are renewed. Even when our lives are overwhelmingly busy, we can always make room for God by worshiping Him and taking time to focus our minds on the goodness of God.

Do not make God an item on your to-do list. Don’t make praying to Him just another thing to check off so you can feel good about yourself. God is greater than any to- do list who deserves our worship and adoration and time spent where we just think about how good He is. David wrote:

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭63‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Like David, we can compliment God and tell Him how good He is to us and why we love Him. This will open up our hearts and make it an inviting home for Christ, our Lord and Savior. Today, I invite you to minimize distractions and refocus your heart and mind to worship God for who He is.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding me the importance of always praising and worshipping You with my whole heart. When I’m tempted to allow busyness to consume me, help me to make room for You. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray, Amen.
