When we trust God to lead our way and delight in Him, we don’t have to be overcome with confusion, but instead live free in knowing each of our steps is purposely established by God Himself. As we seek His direction, He will make all things clear.
When we are overwhelmed with challenges, it can be difficult to feel God’s presence, but God promises that when we seek Him, we will find Him. Jeremiah 29:13 says:
“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 ESV)
Often, we assume that because we don’t feel God, He’s not present, but that only causes us to close our spiritual eyes to seeing God in the midst of all our circumstances both good and bad. No matter what you are facing today, I challenge you to look closer and see how God’s hand is still moving in your life. Seek Him with the expectation to find exactly what you are looking for because God promises His presence to those who look for Him. Today, I encourage you to seek God with your whole heart and trust that He will always be with you.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for always loving me and wanting what is best for me. Despite the challenges I face, help me to continue to seek Your face and know You are ordering my steps. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray, Amen.
