Love is the glue that connects us to God and others. Our sinful desire is what separates us from God’s love. Glory to God that He is greater than everything trying to separate us from Him because He is love. Fully convinced of God’s love, the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:38-39:
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 ESV)
God’s love for us, demonstrated in the sacrifice of Christ, is an unbreakable bond for those who place their faith in Christ. No matter what you’re up against today, remember the power of God’s love for You can never be taken away.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unbreakable love and that Your love connects me to You forever. May I always be empowered by Your love, and may my confidence be sure in Your love for me always. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray, Amen.
