April 1 • Called Out to Bloom

Sometimes the biggest thing holding us back isn’t lack of clarity—it’s fear. Fear that we’ll mess it all up. That we’re not enough. That we’ll fail. And so, instead of moving forward in what God is calling us to do, we freeze. We hide. But here’s what I want to remind you of today: God already knew every struggle, shortcoming, and weakness you have—and He still called you.

Let that sink in.

He factored all of it in. And yet, He chose you. God isn’t looking for perfect people—He’s looking for willing hearts. Faithful servants. He’s saying, “Will you come out and show up? Not because you have it all together, but because I’m the One asking?”

  • Moses was called from the quiet of the wilderness to stand before Pharaoh.
  • Elijah was called out of hiding to continue his prophetic mission.
  • Peter was called out from a boat, post-failure, to help build the church.
  • God is calling you out, too.

I know it feels scary. You might even think, “I can’t do this.” And you might be right—you can’t on your own. But the good news? You’re not alone. Philippians 1:6 says:

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (ESV)

Like a flower buried in the dirt, you weren’t meant to stay hidden.

It’s time to bloom.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me, even knowing my weaknesses. Help me to trust You with myself and to step out in faith, not because I’m perfect, but because You are. Give me the courage to come out of hiding and follow You. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
