Have you ever wanted to change your life? I’ve learned that although our situations may not change, we can alter our perspective. This can be a complete game changer in living a happier life and nothing changes your perspective like practicing gratefulness. Psalm 9:1-2 reads:
“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.” (Psalm 9:1-2 ESV)
The gift of gratefulness is that it changes your heart well before your circumstance changes. If you’re in need of a new perspective that leads to more peace and joy, take time today to think about all that you have to be thankful for and praise the Lord.
