When going through tests and trials, we may feel we don’t have anything left to give. But if we’ll do our best, we can trust that God will do the rest. Whether it’s being nice when we don’t feel good, tithing when money is tight, or following God when the desire is lacking, God can still do a lot with our little.
We must realize that the things that limit us do not limit God. Philippians 4:19 tells us: “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (ESV) So many times we’re tempted to think we just need more money, time, or energy, when we really just need God. God is not asking for our portion as much as he is asking for our faith.
What do you need today? What are you lacking? Remember this: we don’t need to worry about doing, having, or being enough when our God is enough.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for providing all my needs. May I always place my faith in you for what only you can do. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, Amen.
