One of the greatest lies of the enemy is to convince you that the good work you are doing is not good at all. That you’re wasting your time, not making a difference, that is doesn’t matter. If he can discourage you from your kingdom work, he disables you of the joy and hope that the work requires. Don’t let that happen. Remember, you are working for the Lord. Galatians 6:9 encourages us:
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9 NLT)
You will experience the fruit of your labor at the right time. So if you’re not there yet, and you’re working and waiting we have two options; to get tired and give up, or to place our hope in God and keep going. Only one option produces a harvest of blessing. We will grow tired and be tempted to give up, but it’s then we must remember the work we are doing is good and it’s worth it and stay determined to see it though. I encourage you today to see that your work is good and to be encouraged to not give up and keep going.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the good work You have assigned to me. Please help me to steward this work with Your power and excellence. In Jesus Christ’s Name I pray, amen.
