That rushed feeling you hear whispering in your ear, telling you you’re not enough, you’re not moving fast enough, or you’re not doing enough is a lie. It’s one of the enemy’s ways of pressuring you to overwhelm your life and prevent you from hearing from God. Rush, pressure, and overwhelm do not come from God.

Remember, we serve the God who leads us beside still waters. God does not rush our souls; He restores our souls.

“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” (Psalm 23:2-3 ESV)

I encourage you today to cling to God in this season and allow His love and grace to set the pace for your life.

Prayer: Dear God, when I feel rushed or pressured to move at a hurried pace, settle my spirit and remind me that Your timing is best. Thank you for restoring my soul and the stillness that You provide. In Jesus’ name, amen
