One of the most disheartening feelings is loneliness. Maybe you feel like you’re alone with all the work on your shoulders. Maybe you feel alone in a relationship where you’re the only one putting in any effort. Maybe you feel alone in the sense that no one around you understands you.
We may feel alone, but we are never truly alone. God is always with us, no matter what circumstances we are going through. Isaiah 49:15 says, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.” (Isaiah 49:15 ESV)
I know you may be facing tests, trials, and temptations of all kinds. But never doubt this: God loves you and he is always with you. He hears your prayers, and he sees your tears. He has not forgotten his child, and he never will. I want to encourage you today to look to God and see that he is with you through it all.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your promise to never leave nor forsake me. Please help me to see your hand in my life during this season. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
