I know the enemy may have been in your head lately, bombarding you with insecurity, guilt, shame, lies, and temptation great enough to make you lose focus and become confused. I know because I’m right here in the trenches with you, daily fighting for my relationship with God and my faith.

But let me make this clear: there is no reason for you to fear the enemy or his plans. 1 John 4:4 reminds us of the true power we have in Jesus: “Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (ESV)

What you have, daughter of God, is what the enemy fears most. But if he can whisper lies into your soul and make you think he’s bigger than he really is, then he knows he can disarm you of your faith—a faith that has the power to move mountains. So don’t be fooled or deceived. In Christ, you are powerful beyond measure.

I want to encourage you today to stand firm, believe God, and don’t give up. Keep fighting the good fight, Beloved, because you are not alone. The victory is already yours.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for granting your children victory on the cross through the sacrifice of your one and only Son. I pray for the boldness and courage to live in victory and not defeat. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
