If there’s anything we can use more of, it’s confidence. By confidence, I don’t mean thinking more of ourselves than we should, but an increased boldness in God and His ability in our lives. A confidence that allows us the courage to come to God in times of trouble and not try to fix things in our own strength. Hebrews 4:16 says:

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

In the busyness of life, our default can often look like trying to find help everywhere except at the throne of God. It’s at His throne, however, where we find the grace we desperately need in times of difficulty. I encourage you to seek God with confidence in full assurance that the grace and help you need await at his throne.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the special love and attention you provide when I need help. I pray to remember to always seek you with confidence in times of need. In Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen.
