When you are doing God’s work, it is not all up to you. You are in partnership with God to accomplish His will, but He will do it. Philippians 1:6 says:
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6 ESV)
God is faithful and has accounted for our shortcomings and fatigue and will fill in the gaps. Sometimes we need to push through and do our part, but other times, we need to sit back, trust God, and watch Him do what we can’t. Today, I encourage you to continue to trust God that He will finish the good work that He started in you.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the good work that You have started in me. During seasons of uncertainty, frustration, or doubt, remind me that You are faithful and will always equip me with what I need to accomplish Your will. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.
